Improved sorting capability through self-produced delta robots, 3D vision and AI
ROBOne, a company specializing in robots and waste sorting automation, participated in the ‘Retech 2024’ held at KINTEX Ilsan from August 28 (Wed) to 30 (Fri) and unveiled its waste sorting automation solution ROBin.
Robin is a cutting-edge waste sorting solution for building a circular resource economy, and it enables accurate waste sorting based on 3D vision AI. The product can also accurately pick irregular objects, and its work efficiency has been improved through its own delta robot.
ROBOne is currently conducting a demonstration of the product at a recycling center in Busan and is currently in the process of full-scale sales. In addition, it is actively pursuing the expansion of its portfolio with products that can sort not only household waste but also electronic waste and waste clothing.
Meanwhile, the ‘Waste and Resource Recycling Industry Exhibition 2024’ was hosted by the RETECH Organizing Committee, organized by Gwangryong Co., Ltd., and sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Seoul Metropolitan City, Incheon Metropolitan City, etc., and was held concurrently with the ‘Next Generation Powder Industry Exhibition 2024 (A-Powder Tech 2024)’.
