ROBOne to Participate in 2024 Green Energy Tech… Exhibits 3D Vision AI-Based Waste Sorting Solution

ROBOne Co., Ltd. announced that it will participate in the ‘2024 GreenEnerTEC’ to be held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon for three days from Wednesday, October 30 to Friday, November 1.

ROBOne is conducting business with a focus on factory automation using various robots. In particular, it has the competitiveness to design, manufacture, control, install, and test-run industrial high-speed delta robots with its own technology.

The company emphasized that its core personnel in robot-related design, control, and quality have 15 to 23 years of experience and know-how in related fields, providing robots and services that are differentiated from not only domestic products but also foreign products. It is launching and supplying a recycling waste sorting robot in 2023.

In addition to certifications required for robots such as KCS and CE, it is also seeking to obtain production-related certifications such as ISO9001 to lead technology and products in related fields.

It plans to showcase waste sorting solutions at this exhibition. It features an asymmetrical delta robot with 30% space efficiency as its own production robot platform, a large-capacity ring blower-type picking tool, and the implementation of a foreign substance detection and removal system.

△AI vision with 99.4% classification accuracy, △Extraction and utilization of depth information through 3D vision, △Additional classification and detection tasks customized to the classification sorting facility, and △Optimization service utilizing embedded board hardware acceleration are featured.

For AIoT monitoring, △Robot status monitoring such as operation/non-operation/main status, △Production information monitoring such as sorting speed per minute/sorting amount by type, △Abnormal detection monitoring, pad/backup battery, etc. △Monitoring of consumables replacement cycle is possible.

ROBOne said, “In order to overcome rapid environmental problems caused by global warming, international organizations including the UN are promoting international agreements and agreements, and in response, Korea is also implementing strong restrictions and sanctions on waste disposal through government-led environmental policies and legislation, which is making the related market more resilient.”

He continued, “As an alternative to overcoming resource depletion and environmental pollution due to the increase in the world population, demand for recyclable materials is increasing, and as labor shortages are worsening, waste sorting robots are emerging as an alternative. Accordingly, ROBOne plans to enter the domestic and international markets with AI waste sorting robots in line with the global market trend.”

Meanwhile, at 2024 Green Energy Tech, companies in the fields of carbon neutrality, circular economy, water resources, renewable energy, climate change, atmosphere, and eco-friendly plastics will showcase innovative technologies. This exhibition will provide opportunities for participating companies to develop practical sales channels for entering domestic and international markets, including public purchasing consultations for local governments, specialized agencies, etc. that wish to introduce technology and equipment, overseas export consultations inviting influential buyers from around the world, and consultations inviting large manufacturing companies. In addition, specialized conferences such as the ‘2024 Green Energy Tech ESG Conference’, ‘3rd International Eco-friendly Plastic Conference’, ‘Renewable Energy Policy and New Business Commercialization Strategy Seminar’, and ‘3rd Hazardous Chemical Safety Management Policy and Technology Equipment Briefing Session’ will be held.
